I’m Emily Sherwood, Principal of Sherwood Luxury Group, and I’ve had the privilege of working in the Las Vegas real estate market for over 30 years. My career has been dedicated to helping clients navigate one of the most important decisions of their lives—finding or selling a home that reflects their goals, lifestyle, and long-term vision. I specialize in luxury residential real estate, custom home and lot sales, and builder representation. My clients have included Fortune 500 executives, public figures, professional athletes, and families who trust me to bring a steady hand, strong market knowledge, and complete discretion to every transaction.
My journey into real estate began in Colorado, where I worked with builders and developers, learning the foundation of new home sales and community development. In 1988, I moved to Las Vegas to open operations for a Colorado-based homebuilder. That move opened the door to a wide range of opportunities in the high-end market, including leadership roles at some of Las Vegas’s most iconic communities—Spanish Trail, Lake Las Vegas, and MacDonald Highlands. At Lake Las Vegas, I served as Vice President and Corporate Broker for the $4 billion development, managing the launch of luxury custom lots and resort properties. I later took on the same role at MacDonald Highlands, where I helped launch MacDonald Highlands and Dragon Ridge Country Club bringing custom homes and lots to market with a personalized, high-service approach.
To meet the growing needs of my builder clients, I co-founded BOS Marketing Group, a consulting firm focused on sales and marketing strategies for real estate developers nationwide. I later joined Blue Heron, a premier design-build firm in Las Vegas, where I advised clients on custom home lots and helped facilitate over $180 million in land and home sales. Each step of my career has deepened my understanding of the market and strengthened my commitment to the people I serve.
Today, through Sherwood Luxury, I lead a team that shares my values—honesty, client advocacy, and long-term relationships over short-term wins. While I specialize in the luxury segment, I treat every client and transaction with the same level of care and attention, regardless of price point. I’ve been honored to be ranked among the top 1% of Las Vegas Real Estate Agents by RealTrends, but what I value most are the connections I’ve made and the trust my clients continue to place in me.
My education was from University of Kansas and the University of Colorado. I hold a degree in interior design and fashion merchandising, which gives me a unique eye for lifestyle-driven real estate. My husband Mike and I live in Las Vegas, close to our grown children and two adorable grandchildren. When I’m not working, my husband and I enjoy hiking, skiing, and spending time in the mountains with our new Bernedoodle Chester. I consider it a gift to do what I love every day—helping people find not just a house, but a home, and building lasting relationships along the way.
