Summerlin's Holiday Calendar Is Already Set Around the Edges of Downtown

Summerlin's holiday season effectively runs on two calendars, and they go public at different times. The first is already set. It belongs to the venues around Downtown Summerlin: Las Vegas Ballpark, Life Time Summerlin on West Charleston, the Summerlin Hospital lobby, Red Rock Resort's ballroom, and Tivoli Village just east on Rampart. The second is Downtown Summerlin's own program of parade, Santa and skating, and it usually goes up in early November. Last year's announcement was dated Nov. 1, 2025.

So the outer calendar sets the fixed points of November and December, and the Downtown program fills in around them. Planning in that order spares you some painful double-bookings, especially around the first weekend of December.

The Ballpark Holds the Longest Run

The anchor of the 2026 season is Enchant at Las Vegas Ballpark, running Nov. 20 through Dec. 27. Enchant's 2026 page promises a "reimagined maze adventure" built on a new storyline, plus new photo installations. Tickets start at $27, and ice skating is a separate add-on.

Two details matter for planning. First, check the dates. A ballpark-side page lists the run as Nov. 21 to Dec. 28, but those days of the week line up with last year's calendar. Enchant's own 2026 page has Friday, Nov. 20 through Sunday, Dec. 27. Second, the run lasts five and a half weeks at a single venue, from the Friday before Thanksgiving through the weekend after Christmas.

That overlap matters because the ballpark is also where Thanksgiving morning begins.

Thanksgiving Starts at the Same Gate

The Life Time Las Vegas Turkey Trot is set for Thursday, Nov. 26, 2026, and registration is open. The race page calls the start Aviators Stadium. The 5K runs from there to Life Time Summerlin at 10721 W. Charleston Blvd., where the after-party is on the pool deck.

The organizers describe the course as "a fast-paced mild incline run through the heart of Summerlin near the outskirts of Faith Lutheran and Downtown Summerlin," and say it suits runners chasing a personal best. A family fun-run mile rounds out the morning, with swag and a medal for those runners too.

By Thanksgiving, Enchant will have been open for six days, so the same stadium is a race start in the morning and a light maze at night. For a household hosting family that week, the ballpark covers both ends of the holiday Thursday.

The night before belongs to Rampart.

Rampart Runs Its Own Rhythm

Tivoli Village, at 400 S. Rampart Blvd., has published the most detailed season of any venue near Summerlin, and every date carries a 2026 label.

  • Night Market, Saturday, Nov. 14, 4–9 p.m. Local crafts and artisan goods.
  • Annual Tree Lighting, Wednesday, Nov. 25, 5–8 p.m. Holiday music, a Nutcracker and Sugarplum Fairy meet-and-greet, the Reindeer Rockettes and a Make-A-Wish segment. The page asks guests to RSVP and lists no price.
  • Nutcracker Night Market, Thursdays Dec. 3, 10 and 17, 4–8 p.m., in The Piazza. Artisan shopping, live entertainment, lights and family activities.
  • Toys for Tots: Fill The Truck, Wednesday, Dec. 9, 5–7 p.m. Bring a new, unwrapped toy, see Santa, hear live music, and get $5 off a UNLV Rebel Hockey ticket.

The tree lighting lands on Thanksgiving Eve, so a family can see the tree on Wednesday night and run the Trot on Thursday morning without crossing the valley. The Nutcracker Night Markets work differently. Three Thursdays in a row give December a weekly, early-evening routine on Rampart that won't compete with weekend plans.

December's First Weekend Is Already Full

Laid side by side, the confirmed dates bunch up between Thursday, Dec. 3 and Sunday, Dec. 6.

Date Event Location Time
Thu., Dec. 3 Nutcracker Night Market Tivoli Village, The Piazza 4–8 p.m.
Sat., Dec. 5 Holiday Marketplace Summerlin Hospital Medical Center, main lobby 9 a.m.–3 p.m.
Sun., Dec. 6 Light the Menorah Downtown Summerlin 4–6:30 p.m., per Jewish Nevada
Sun., Dec. 6 Matt Mathews, "Not What I Ordered" Red Rock Ballroom 5 and 8 p.m.

The Summerlin Hospital Holiday Marketplace is free to enter, parking is free, and proceeds benefit the hospital auxiliary. On Sunday, Jewish Nevada's Light the Menorah listing puts the event at Downtown Summerlin from 4 to 6:30 p.m. and says more details are coming. A local event listing gives 4 to 6 p.m. and calls it free, so check the organizer's final schedule before you go.

The same evening, Red Rock Resort hosts two shows of Matt Mathews's "Not What I Ordered" tour. Tickets start at $47.50 plus tax and fees, and both shows are 21 and over.

One more date stands alone the following Friday. Summerlin Hospital's Memory Tree and Candle Lighting Ceremony is Dec. 11 in the main lobby, with a reception at 5:30 p.m. and candle lighting at 6. The event runs until 7.

So the menorah lighting is the one confirmed Downtown Summerlin event on this calendar. Everything else Downtown usually offers is still unannounced.

What Downtown Summerlin Ran Last Year

As of mid-October, the Downtown Summerlin events page still led with Halloween's Parade of Mischief and had no holiday listings. Last year's program is the best guide to what usually fills the gaps. Every date below is from 2025, as published in Summerlin's Nov. 1, 2025 announcement. None of it is a 2026 schedule.

  • Holiday Parade. Fridays and Saturdays at 6 p.m. on Park Centre Drive, Nov. 21 to Dec. 20, with an added show Monday, Dec. 22, and no show on Black Friday. It was free, with nearly 100 local youth performers.
  • Santa Chalet. In the Macy's Promenade, open daily Nov. 14 to Dec. 24. Photo packages started at $39.99 on select days and required reservations. Pet photo nights ran on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and a sensory-friendly session was held one Saturday morning.
  • Letters to Santa. For every letter dropped off at the Chalet, Downtown Summerlin donated $1 to the Goodie Two Shoes Foundation.
  • Rock Rink. Opened Nov. 14 with skate rentals from $18, and Las Vegas Ice Theater performed on three Sundays.
  • Jupiter Express Train. $5 per rider, also starting Nov. 14.

Set that against this year's confirmed calendar. In 2025, the rink, the train and the Santa Chalet all opened on the second Friday in November. In 2026, Tivoli's Night Market is Saturday, Nov. 14. The 2025 parade started the Friday before Thanksgiving, and this year that Friday is the day Enchant opens. If Downtown Summerlin keeps a similar rhythm, the season's two longest runs will open with the parade and Enchant's first night falling within a day of each other.

Parade nights would then set the pace for every December weekend. Last year's parade ran every Friday and Saturday at 6 p.m. on Park Centre Drive. Enchant runs through Dec. 27 this year, and Tivoli's markets are on Thursdays. Until Downtown posts its own dates, Thursday at Tivoli and Sunday, Dec. 6 are the most dependable openings on the calendar.
